I have suffered with back pain every school year from carrying many books along with my laptop. I have been looking into getting a tens unit for awhile now since my dad uses them for his pains from his surgery. I really like how small and compact this is! This can be charged via USB and this also comes with an adapter so you can plug it in the wall if you don't have access to a computer. There are four pads that you can use. I would only use two since the pad saver can only hold two. The other two can be used as backup when the pads lose their stickiness. There are two ports on top of the machine so you can indeed use four of the pads at the same time. There are eight different modes to choose from and they don't tell you the names of the modes on the instruction manual so you have to kind of test out how each mode feels of by looking at the pictures of each mode. The T button is to change the amount of time you want your session to be, I use mine for 10 minutes because you don't want to use this treatment for a long amount of time. The M button is to change your modes. If you want to change your intensity then you hit the play button after you have chosen everything, I recommend you start at a low intensity then push play and if you want something stronger you can turn up the intensity.
