I really love using copper mugs because they chill my drink to the next level. They also can be used for hot drinks but since they are only a single layer the cups will get really hot to handle. They are best if washed by hand and dried quickly after washing to prevent any spots on the cup. It really an aesthetic thing really because some people like that aged copper look and think that it gives the cup character. They also come with recipes for alcoholic drinks you can make that will intensify the drink. I really like how shiny and smooth the hammered cup is and its a really fun texture to feel while you're drinking. The original copper mug seems duller than the hammered mug and there was something on the cup when I received it which I didn't really appreciate but its not big deal because I could easily wash it off.
